LAS VEGAS DESERT DOGS ANNOUNCE HOME OPENER ON DECEMBER 20
LAS VEGAS (Sept. 12, 2025) – The Las Vegas Desert Dogs have officially announced their Season 4 home opener vs. Ottawa on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Lee’s Family Forum in Henderson, NV. Opening faceoff is set for 7:00 PM with the tailgate getting underway at 4:00 p.m.
This year’s theme, “Viva Lax Vegas” presented by Rio Vegas, will bring the energy of Las Vegas glitz together with the excitement of professional box lacrosse, celebrating both the growth of the game in Southern Nevada and the city’s unmatched entertainment scene.
The first 2,500 fans through the doors will receive an exclusive Jack “Hang-Time” Hannah bobblehead, courtesy of Rio Vegas. Following the game, all fans are invited to keep the party going at the Official After-Party at Rio Vegas.
In addition, the Desert Dogs will recognize a historic milestone for the sport as we invite all local teams, coaches, players, and fans to join us in celebrating the recent sanctioning of lacrosse as a Nevada high school varsity sport beginning in the 2026–27 school year.
The action kicks off early. Beginning at 4:00 PM, fans can enjoy the Big Dog’s Tailgate Party on the Tiltyard featuring:
• $1 Big Dog’s Good Boy Lagers
• Vegas-style casino games
• Decker’s Kids Club Fun Zone
• A Vegas-style photo booth with props
• Food trucks
A massive screen showing college football playoff matchups and NFL Week 16 games
Inside the arena, fans can also take advantage of $5 Big Dog’s Good Boy Lagers all night long.
