LAS VEGAS (Mar. 2, 2026) - The Las Vegas Desert Dogs will host the 4th Annual Tucker Out Lymphoma Night on Sunday, March 15, 2026, as part of the team’s St. Paddy’s Sunday game, presented by Rady Children’s Hospital. The Desert Dogs will face the Rochester Knighthawks at 3:00 p.m. PT at Lee’s Family Forum.
The night honors Tucker Williams, the son of Desert Dogs Head Coach and General Manager Shawn Williams, who passed away from Burkitt’s Lymphoma in December 2014.
Following Tucker’s diagnosis, Tucker Out Lymphoma Night originated nearly 12 years ago in Buffalo with the Buffalo Bandits, where Williams was playing at the time. First held in April 2014, the annual game has continued to raise money and awareness for pediatric cancer research and care, celebrating Tucker’s life and legacy.
Williams shared his thoughts on the significance of the evening, saying, “It’s an honor to have this night start in Buffalo and make its way to Vegas, celebrating Tucker’s legacy. It’s truly humbling and we’re grateful that the league recognizes what this means to our family and the lacrosse community. Anytime we can raise awareness and donate funds to help other families in need, our organization jumps at the opportunity. This has been our team’s message and mission since day one.”
During the game, the Desert Dogs will wear their exclusive Tucker Out Lymphoma jerseys, designed by Williams’ older son Dyson Williams, who currently plays for the Oshawa FireWolves. The game-worn jerseys will be available via auction, with all proceeds benefiting pediatric cancer research. Bidding will begin at $199.51, honoring the No. 51 worn by Tyson Williams.
Fans are encouraged to wear lime green to celebrate Tucker’s life, show support in the fight against non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and take part in the St. Paddy’s tradition. All fans in attendance will also receive a green rally towel to cheer on the Desert Dogs and commemorate the evening. A 64-team cornhole tournament will be held at the tailgate for fans to make the day a celebration.
In partnership with the Desert Dogs, the Cure 4 The Kids Foundation (C4K) continues its Power of the Pack initiative for a second season. The program invites nine children to serve as honorary team captains at each Desert Dogs home game. Honorees participate in a pregame press conference, attend a team practice, and are the first to emerge from the tunnel before the start of the game.
